Forward Sports Marketing (FSM) was created by Tim Buckley to focus marketing attention initially to National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Championship Drag Racing and then expand to various other sports. The purpose for the organization is to connect corporate America with race teams, drivers, and facilities through promotions and directed campaigns. The scope and direction of the company is not limited to any sponsor, organization, or league, as it can participate in any sports marketing opportunity.

The founder and CEO of Vintage Design Inc., Buckley has been an avid motor sports fan for many years. Buckley first ventured into the drag racing world in 1989 when he partnered with ‘89 NHRA Top Fuel champion Gary Ormsby and his Castrol GTX Top Fuel team. Before joining DPM, Buckley exited drag racing for the ovals of stock car racing where he was the sole owner of VMI Racing. He owned the NASCAR Truck and Winston West cars driven by Bill Sedwick from 1997-’03. Buckley founded Vintage Design Inc. in 1986. A full service interior design and flooring subcontractor with regional locations throughout California. In his spare time, Buckley enjoys spending time with his family, golf and swimming. He competes in the Master’s Swimming Competition and was the 2005 and 2007 National Champion.



Ryan Haas

Director of Sales
Based out of Kansas City

With nearly 17 years of sports marketing experience, Haas has been involved in motorsports as well as football and soccer. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Haas worked his way south to begin his motorsports career with the construction and opening of Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, OK. After two years of sponsorship sales and track management, he was hired by former Funny Car Champion, Billy Meyer, to work at the Texas Motorplex. Titles at the famed NHRA national event track in Dallas included Sales Manager up to General Manager during a six year term. Haas left Dallas to return to his roots in Kansas City, being offered a position with Arrowhead Sports – the owners of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs, and MLS Kansas City Wizards. As Sales Manager for Arrowhead Sports, Haas worked directly with Chiefs and Wizards Founder, Lamar Hunt. Haas joined FSM owner, Tim Buckley in the fall of 2006 to create the new sports marketing agency.



Cameron Beer

Sponsorship Coordinator
Based out of Indianapolis

Cameron Beer is a recent graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. While there, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration with a minor in marketing and management. In the summer of 2007, Cameron participated as an intern with the Indianapolis Tennis Championships. He worked mainly on the operations of the tournament, but was also involved in marketing, mobile marketing, and ticket sales for the tournament. Cameron joined the Forward Sports Marketing team in October 2007 as a Sponsorship Coordinator. His main duties at FSM include acting as the coordinator for the David Powers Motorsports Top Fuel Dragster Show-Car, sponsorship fulfillment at NHRA events, and finding new sponsorship opportunities for FSM’s vast clientele.
